Safwat Zaki, MD, FACS, MBBCH, PhD

Dr. Zaki is the Director of Robotic and Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgeries in Kettering Health Network. He is also a volunteer Assistant Professor of Surgery/Urology at the University of Cincinnati. He was pioneer to introduce laparoscopic prostatectomy in the Tri-State area in 2002.

He has fellowships as well as extensive training in world-renowned institutions including the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Johns Hopkins University and in Paris France.
Dr. Zaki has also received a Masters Degree & PhD with research in areas of Urology from Cairo University in Egypt & The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio.

He has taught in the University of Cincinnati several courses including genitourinary malignancies, prostate cancer, BPH, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction and physical exam of a urology patient.

Dr. Zaki has moved his practice to the Greater Dayton Area from Cincinnati where he started the Robotic and Urologic Laparoscopic Program in Kettering. He is also a National Proctor for Intuitive Surgical, training other urologists on robotic surgeries.
