Eric Hick, DO, FACSDr. Hick has an interest in all aspects of adult urology and certain pediatric urology conditions. He has extensive experience in oncology, urethral stricture disease, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, penile prosthetics, male infertility, BPH, and female urology. He received his medical degree with honers from Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his urology residency with the U.S. Air Force (USAF) at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to joining Alliance Physicians, Dr. Hick concluded a distinguished USAF career of eleven years with his most recent post as Chief of Urology, 88th Surgical Operations Squadron, Urology Element, Wright Patterson USAF Medical Center. Career highlights include: Urology Expert Review Consultant, USAF Urology Department Worldwide; Director, Prostate Cancer Program, Wright Patterson USAF Medical Center; Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Hick has been honored with many awards of distinction including: U.S. Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, Honorable Discharge, 11 Service Years (2010); U.S. Air Force Meritorious Unit Award, Operation Iraqi Freedom (2007); U.S. Air Force Commendation Medal, Urologist/ Trauma Surgeon, Operation Iraqi Freedom (2006); and The Pfizer Scholars in Urology National Award (2004). He also has a passion for teaching and clinical research. Dr. Hick has numerous publications in the The Journal of Urology (2004-2008) and has presented frequently across the U.S. during the American Urology Association (AUA) Annual and AUA South Central Section Meetings, Kimbrough Urological Seminars, ans Texas Urological Society Annual Meetings where he earned several first place awards.
